ELEVATE PRODUCTIONS

I worked with Elevate Productions to photograph their 10-week storytelling course, part of a National Lottery Community Fund initiative. This free West London program, open to all ages, fosters creativity, confidence, and diversity through storytelling and media production.

During the course, riots erupted in London in August 2024, following a tragic knife attack in Southport and fueled by misinformation falsely linking the attacker to immigration. This photo series captures participants’ responses to the riots, as they shared their perspectives amidst the unfolding events.

DREAM ARTS

These images were captured for DreamArts’ theatre production Love Scripted, which follows four characters navigating personal challenges in search of something better, interspersed with a documentary film. DreamArts, an outreach charity serving young people and families in London for over 25 years, offers creative and therapeutic programs.

OLESYA

I had the honour of photographing historian and writer Olesya Khromeychuk, author of The Death of a Soldier Told by His Sister (2022). Recently diagnosed with cancer, she chose boldly to go public and wanted to be photographed without her wig to help normalise this experience for other cancer patients.

UKRAINE

A selection of images taken in 2016 for Chatham House, documenting the rebuilding of Ukraine following the 2014 Revolution of Dignity.

KAKUMA

"Kakuma," meaning "nowhere" in Swahili, is home to over 160,000 refugees and asylum seekers residing in the Kakuma Refugee Camp in northwestern Kenya. Established in 1992, the camp remains a vital refuge. These photos, taken for Chatham House, explore how solar power can support and improve life for refugees in the camp.

LESVOS

These images were taken on assignment with Chatham House, documenting best practices in refugee camps across Greece, specifically in Mytilene, Lesvos.

LITTLE BAOBAB LIVE

These photographs capture Little Baobab's African music night at Peckham Levels, an event designed to bring the sounds of Senegalese music to a broader audience.
